Accommodation
Essentials
Bedding and Towels
Sheets (and duvets & pillows) and towels are supplied and there are some beach towels. With so many people being charged for luggage these days, we also leave a supply of shampoo and soap in the bathroom so you can limit your carry-on luggage.
If you are leaving at a comfortable time, please just wash the sheets etc and put them back on the beds.
If you are leaving early in the morning, just put the sheets by the washing machine (please don't put the machine on and leave).
Tea, coffee etc
We also leave a basic supply of tea, coffee, sugar etc until you work out what you like. Please replace anything you finish. There's enough wood for a night or two in the box next to the stove - there's more wood in the bohan with the red door.

The porch
The porch is a great social space - you can eat, sit, read, sleep, chill... On sunny days, the doors open fully so you don't get too hot - but then on sunny days, you'll probably head out. The space really works on the less than sunny days as the space stays warm from early morning until late evening (the picture below of some literary ladies having breakfast was taken in late September 2010!) There are lots of warm rugs and throws to snuggle under if it gets chilly.
The living room
Inside it's straight into the main living room.
On the right is the kitchen (with a gas/electric cooker) and the kitchen table. (The sink is in the little back kitchen along with a washing machine and dryer).

On the left is a sitting area with sofa, rocking chair and wood-burning stove.
The bathroom is also on the ground floor and has an electric power shower.
There's no central heating, but there are plug in heaters in every room and actually the house never really gets cold with it's 4/5 ft thick stone walls.
Sleeping
There are three bedrooms: a double room off the main room on the ground floor, a double upstairs and one with two single beds upstairs.
Each has an electric heated under blanket for colder nights. The house is only really suitable for 3-4 people, (though it can theoretically sleep more) - any more is too much for the small bathroom.
